この度の熊本地震により被災された方々に、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
私たちは2016年の熊本地震以来、10年間にわたり、故郷くまもとの復興を願いつつ、支援活動を行ってまいりました。(活動報告リンク）
当県人会の安藤副会長が主宰するフラメンコ教室 ミカエラカイフラメンコのフラメンコによる支援活動では会員も参加して支援を続けてまいりました。今年の6月に開催したフラメンコリサイタルからの募金を「こども本の森 くまもと」へ送金した直後、再び熊本を襲った震度7の大地震に、大変胸を痛めております。復興が進む故郷の突然の悲劇に直面し、アメリカから私たちの思いを届けるべく、仲間とともに再び立ち上がることを決意いたしました。
つきましては、下記のとおり被災地支援のためのチャリティコンサートを開催いたします。皆様のご参加と温かいご協力を心よりお願い申し上げます。

スペイン人フラメンコアーティストのパコ氏、ヨランダ・アローヨ氏を迎え、ミカエラカイフラメンコとともに10年間の支援の思いを込めたステージをお届けします。
【第2部：ローカルアーティストライブ】
クラシック演奏家の小澤奈緒美氏、DJのYUI YAMAMOTO氏、民謡歌手の沖田義邦氏、浅野太鼓（調整中）、ならびに河内音頭グループと熊本県人会グループによる盆踊りパフォーマンスを予定しています。

Our thoughts and prayers go to all those affected by the recent Kumamoto earthquake.
For the past 10 years, since the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake, we have been carrying out support activities while praying for the recovery of our hometown, Kumamoto. (Link to Activity Report)
Through the flamenco-based support activities organized by “Mikaela Kai Flamenco”—a flamenco academy led by Vice President Michiyo Ando of our prefectural association—our members have also participated and continued to provide support.
We were deeply saddened when, immediately after sending the donations raised from the flamenco recital held this past June to “Children’s Book Forest Kumamoto,” a magnitude 7 earthquake struck Kumamoto once again. Faced with this sudden tragedy in our hometown, where recovery efforts were underway, we resolved to rise up once more alongside our fellow members to convey our support from the United States.
Accordingly, we will be holding a charity concert to support the disaster-affected areas, as detailed below. We sincerely ask for your participation and warm support.

Featuring Spanish flamenco artists Paco and Yolanda Arroyo, who will join Mikaela Kai Flamenco to present a performance embodying a decade of support.
【Part 2: Live Performances by Local Artists】
The lineup includes classical musician Naomi Ozawa, DJ YUI YAMAMOTO, folk singer Yoshikuni Okita, Asano Taiko (TBD), as well as Bon Odori performances by the Kawachi Ondo Group(LA Kansai Club) and the Kumamoto Prefectural Association Group.
